About the Artwork:
This limited edition print is derived from Bran's original piece, "Spoils of War Draco". The artwork features a deactivated AK-47, sourced from a conflict zone and meticulously collaged with real dollar bills. The original piece was exhibited and sold at the prestigious Hofa Gallery in Mayfair, London.
"Spoils of War" explores the intricate relationship between trade and conflict on a global scale. By using a decommissioned AK-47 that has seen active service, Bran layers it with real burnt dollar bills, evoking the image of dirt and fumes, symbolizing the toxic fuel driving this relationship. The detailed hand-cut collage from the dollar bills adds a further dimension of complexity and commentary.
Bran replaces the AK-47’s bullets with various commodities, each sourced from conflict zones where the AK-47 is commonly found. This transformation does not neutralize the weapon but rather highlights the potent and latent power of these commodities.
The artwork implies a profound interconnection between commodities and firearms, each sustaining and compromising the other in a continuous cycle. It prompts the viewer to reflect on how inextricably linked they are and perhaps consider our own roles with

We take great care in packaging all of our art prints to ensure they are not damaged during transit. However, accidents can happen due to environmental conditions. If your print arrives damaged, please send it back to the original address for a full refund or replacement. When you place an order with us, we use the Royal Mail Tracked and Signed courier service. You will receive a tracking number that allows you to track your shipment online and be prepared for its arrival. If you have not received your print within 30 days, please contact our team immediately, and they will help track it down.
Product Details
We take quality control seriously. Each print is personally signed and checked by Bran, who ensures the paper and printing quality. We use a special archival paper that is durable, acid-free, and intended to last a lifetime. Before leaving the studio, each print is checked by Bran, which can sometimes cause a slight delay in shipment, however it's a matter of days and worth the wait!
Your print will arrive in a sturdy postal tube made from 65gsm spiral wound board with a plastic end cap, perfect for transit.
